A PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) offers a network of doctors, clinics and hospitals that provide services at a reduced cost to policy holders. These popular plans offer services such as low doctor co-pays, prescription co-pays, and wellness benefits.

Non-PPO policies (typically called "Indemnity" programs) give you the freedom to choose any doctor or health care facility.

Short-Term Care

Are you temporarily without health insurance? Short Term Medical can protect you if you are:

• Between jobs
  
• Waiting for employer group coverage
  
• A recent college graduate
  
• Dependent no longer eligible on parents' plan

With this affordable plan you choose your doctors, length of coverage (35-365 days), deductible, and rate of payment.

Long-Term Care

Long Term Care is the day-in, day-out assistance you need when you have a serious illness or disability and are unable to take care of yourself. Long Term Care (LTC) refers to a wide range of services delivered in your own home, adult day care centers, assisted living facilities, continuing care communities, and in nursing homes.

The average daily cost for care in a skilled nursing facility is $140 per day (or about $4000 per month). The current cost for skilled in-home care ranges from $10-$20 per hour. Long Term Care insurance is designed to provide a daily benefit to help cover these costs.

Student Select

This plan may be right for you if you are a full time college student no longer covered under a parents' health plan, if you live outside a parents' HMO or PPO service area, or if you are considering a college-sponsored plan. It covers everyday occurrences such as doctors' visits, illnesses, accidents, and high cost items such as hospitalization and surgery.

Medicare Supplements

Medicare Supplement plans are designed to pay many of the health care costs not covered by Medicare. If you are approaching your 65th birthday and enrolling in Medicare, don't miss out on your Open Enrollment opportunity to purchase Medigap (Medicare Supplement) coverage. State and Federal laws guarantee that for the period of 6 months from the date you are both enrolled in Medicare Part B and age 65 or older, you have a right to buy the Medigap policy of your choice regardless of any health problems you may have. No insurer can deny, condition, or price discriminate because of your medical history. Outside of this period, insurers can impose preexisting condition restrictions when issuing your policy or deny coverage completely.
